BrightStarTutor is a small, focused tutoring practice offering 1-on-1 help in three areas: Physiology for medical students, English for Chinese speakers, and IELTS coaching.
Why we started this way
Most tutoring services are built to serve everyone a little — a generalist tutor covering every subject, every language, every exam. We built BrightStarTutor the opposite way: each service exists because there's a specific, well-understood gap that generalist tutoring doesn't close.
Our Physiology tutoring is matched to how Caribbean medical schools actually teach and test the subject, not a reformatted US-style crash course. Our English tutoring is built around the specific grammar and pronunciation patterns Chinese speakers run into — not generic lessons applied to every nationality. Our IELTS coaching focuses on exam literacy and official band descriptors, the thing most candidates never actually study directly.
