1. Services offered

BrightStarTutor provides 1-on-1 online tutoring in Physiology (for medical students), English language tutoring (for Chinese speakers), and IELTS exam coaching. Services are delivered via video/voice call at scheduled times agreed between the tutor and student.

2. Not affiliated with any institution

BrightStarTutor is an independent tutoring service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any medical school (including Ross University, SGU, AUA, AUC, or others), IELTS, the British Council, or IDP Education.

3. No guaranteed outcomes

While we structure sessions to maximize your chances of academic success or exam score improvement, we cannot guarantee specific grades, exam results, band scores, or admission/registration outcomes. Results depend on many factors outside our control, including your own study effort and prior preparation.

4. Booking and payment

Sessions and packages are booked following a free initial consultation. Pricing is confirmed before any payment is made. [Insert your specific payment method, currency, and invoicing process here.]

5. Cancellations and rescheduling

[Insert your specific cancellation policy here — for example: "Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged in full. Rescheduling requests are accommodated where possible."]

6. Refunds

[Insert your specific refund policy here — for example: whether package purchases are refundable for unused sessions, and under what conditions.]

7. Conduct

Sessions are expected to be conducted respectfully. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue service to any student in cases of abusive behavior, harassment, or repeated no-shows without notice.

8. Limitation of liability

BrightStarTutor and its tutors are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our tutoring services, including but not limited to exam results, academic standing, or visa/immigration outcomes.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
